This year's Climate Change Week, under the slogan "The Earth Is in a Green Transformation: Connecting the World Through Carbon Neutrality," aims to expand participation in responses to the climate crisis and resource circulation practices.

On April 20, a "Ssudam" campaign, which combines environmental cleanup and walking activities, will be held in the Sangmu district. On April 22 at 8 p.m., the company will participate in the national lights-off event by turning off the lights of the Bitgoeul Customer Center building for 10 minutes. On April 23, Gwangju Urban Corporation will join six organizations, including the Korea Energy Agency, Yeongsangang Basin Environmental Office, and Seo District Office, to hold a street campaign for energy saving at the Lotte Mart intersection.

Kim Seungnam, President of Gwangju Urban Corporation, stated, "The climate crisis is already a reality," adding, "I hope Climate Change Week becomes an opportunity for everyone to recognize the necessity of practicing carbon neutrality." He also said, "We will continue to play our role in building a sustainable green city in Gwangju."
