KB Kookmin Bank announced on April 16 that it has signed a main transaction bank agreement with the Automobile Compensation Promotion Institute.

원본보기 아이콘The agreement ceremony, which took place the previous day at the Automobile Compensation Promotion Institute in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, was attended by Seongwan Kim, Deputy Director of the Automobile Compensation Promotion Institute, Cho Choongsik, Head of Institutional Sales at KB Kookmin Bank, and other officials from both organizations.
The Automobile Compensation Promotion Institute is a public institution under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, responsible for protecting victims of automobile accidents and operating a fair and reasonable compensation system. Its functions include improving compensation systems, supporting medical policies, and assisting severely injured victims.
Under the agreement, KB Kookmin Bank will provide customized services to the institution for the next five years, including: management of operating funds, establishment of a customized integrated fund management system, launch of exclusive credit loan products for employees, and cooperation in social contribution projects.
Deputy Director Kim stated, "We are grateful for the interest and support from KB Kookmin Bank," and added, "We will continue to work on improving the compensation system to protect public safety and rights."
Head Cho said, "Based on this agreement, we will stably provide the financial services necessary for the institution's operations and will continue to expand customer-centered financial services through collaboration with various public organizations."
