The donation ceremony, held at Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae on the same day, was attended by Chairman Wonman Kim of Saehan Group, Noh Jinseok, Secretary General of Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae, Oh Saeheon, Director of Yeonggwang Disabled Daycare Center, and other officials.
This donation was made through a designated contribution to Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae and will be used for the Baekdu Mountain climbing project, which aims to expand cultural experiences and provide emotional respite opportunities for people with developmental disabilities through the Yeonggwang Disabled Daycare Center.
Chairman Wonman Kim stated, "I hope this will be a valuable opportunity for people with developmental disabilities to gain confidence as they challenge themselves in a new environment," and added, "I will continue to engage in sharing activities together with the local community."
Director Oh Saeheon said, "This visit to Baekdu Mountain will be a meaningful process that goes beyond a simple outing, offering people with developmental disabilities the firsthand experience of 'I can do it too.' We are deeply grateful to Chairman Wonman Kim for his meaningful support."
Meanwhile, Chairman Wonman Kim has continued a variety of social contribution activities since joining as the 181st member of the Gwangju Honor Society in December 2024, including joining the Sharing Company in 2025, participating in the GTMBA 14th Alumni Association Sharing Company Relay, and becoming a member of the Seogu Honors.
