Director Lim began his career in 1993, joining Samsung Aerospace through the Samsung Group's open recruitment, where he started work in engine design. For more than 30 years, he has worked on various automotive powertrain and new vehicle development projects at both Samsung Motors and Renault Korea.

In particular, since 2022, he has made significant contributions as Chief Vehicle Engineer (CVE) leading the "Aurora Project," playing a key role in the successful launches of the Grand Koleos and the Filante.

He is regarded as the right person to lead the development of new electrified models and the reduction of development periods in the future, based on his diverse new vehicle development know-how and extensive experience in technical collaboration with various global partners.

Meanwhile, under Renault Group’s new mid-to-long-term strategy, the "futuREady Plan," Renault Korea plans to introduce one new electrified model to the domestic market each year until 2029. Starting in 2028, next-generation Renault electric vehicles are scheduled to be produced and launched from the Busan plant.
