The Association announced on April 16 that it held a "Public Property Status Survey Consulting Project Briefing Session" on April 15, where it shared the detailed direction for the project with officials from 16 local governments that were ultimately selected through an open call.

This project was designed to reorganize the public property management systems of local governments and to establish a sustainable local fiscal foundation. Through this initiative, the Association will provide integrated support throughout the entire survey process for local governments and offer expert consulting at each stage, aiming to achieve tangible improvements in property management.

The project will run from April to December 2026, with a total budget of 800 million won. A notable feature is that the Association will cover the entire survey project cost and sign contracts directly with the survey agencies, thereby minimizing both the budgetary burden and the administrative procedures for local governments.

Chairman Jung Sunyong stated, "This project is an integrated consulting model that covers every stage from the survey to post-management," adding, "We expect it will significantly enhance local governments' public property management capabilities and contribute to fiscal soundness as well."
