Collaboration with Two Local Child Centers
Laying the Foundation for Community Coexistence

Yongwon National Sports Center, operated by the Changwon Facilities Corporation in Gyeongnam, has successively signed business agreements with local child centers to support the healthy growth of children in the community and to strengthen its social contribution activities.

The center expanded its foundation for community cooperation by signing agreements with Myeongdong Regional Child Center on March 31 and with Jaeun Regional Child Center on April 15, respectively.

Both agreements were concluded at the Yongwon National Sports Center office, with representatives from each institution in attendance. During the ceremonies, they shared collaborative measures to support children's development and promote welfare.

Under the agreements, each institution will cooperate on the following: ▲supporting children's growth and development through sponsorships and social contribution activities; ▲promoting programs and related activities to enhance child welfare; and ▲establishing a continuous collaborative system through community networking.

In particular, the partnership with Myeongdong Regional Child Center is notable for its program that provides free swimming lessons once a week for children, who only need to pay the admission fee. This program stands out as a practical example of child support utilizing sports facilities.

Lee Kyungyun, Acting President of the corporation, stated, "Cooperation with local child centers must go beyond mere agreements and lead to tangible changes in children's daily lives," adding, "Through small but continuous support, we will continue to strengthen the social role of our sports facilities."
