This round of improvements focuses on enhancing the overall visitor experience so that festivalgoers can enjoy the event more comfortably and safely.

The main projects include the installation of new restrooms near Cheongok Lake, repairs to aging children's playgrounds, and a pre-operation inspection of the Mureungbyeol Train, all designed to strengthen convenience and safety for visitors.

Additionally, at Baramsumteul, a central festival site, a large grass plaza is being established and walkways upgraded to ensure smooth movement even during peak crowds.

Efforts are also underway to enhance landscaping and amenities. Spring flowers are being planted around the luge station, large shade structures are being installed near the Lavender Garden, and misting cooling systems are being placed along walking trails to create a pleasant viewing environment.

In particular, as part of the Open Tourism Site Project, the city is simultaneously improving accessibility for those with limited mobility by installing smart shelters and reducing slopes at key entrances as well as on the Sky Glider access path.

Furthermore, a "Scenery Road"-where visitors can hang wish papers-is being created along the Pink Muhly walking trail near Geumgok Lake. The city also plans to enhance nighttime experiences by rearranging lighting, installing laser and gobo lights, and creating firefly effects, aiming to expand tourism content that can be enjoyed both day and night.

Kim Soonki, Head of the Mureung Strategy Division, stated, "We will complete all facility maintenance and preparations without any setbacks before the Lavender Festival, so that visitors can enjoy the festival safely and comfortably. We aim to develop Mureungbyeol Yucheonji into a year-round destination where people want to stay and experience all four seasons."
