Paju City in Gyeonggi Province is recruiting tenants for the "Fine (FINE) Housing" jeonse rental program, which aims to alleviate housing costs for newlyweds and households with newborns.
The "Fine (FINE) Housing" program allows applicants to directly select the home they wish to live in, after which Paju City Urban Corporation signs a jeonse contract and subleases it to them. The name conveys the meaning of "Paju-ro In (IN)" and "Quality Housing for Paju Residents," and the program is a Paju-style basic housing policy designed to lower the initial housing cost burden for newlywed couples.
This recruitment is for a total of 100 households. Eligible applicants include newlyweds without homes (including soon-to-be-married couples) and households with newborns. Notably, applicants may choose any home within Paju City, rather than being limited to designated properties, and current jeonse tenants are also eligible to apply.
Selected applicants will be eligible for low-interest jeonse loans using the Housing and Urban Fund, with a maximum loan amount of 192 million won at a 2.2% interest rate. The city will subsidize up to 352,000 won in monthly interest payments for up to six years. In addition, the city will provide up to 720,000 won to cover initial brokerage fees and offer a 20% discount on real estate brokerage commissions through a partnership with the Paju City Association of Licensed Realtors.
Applicants must be members of a homeless household as of the announcement date, including newlyweds, soon-to-be-married couples, and households with newborns, and must meet detailed income and asset requirements. Duplicate applications are not allowed, so applicants should review the official announcement carefully before applying. The application period runs from April 24 to April 30, and applications must be submitted in person at the Welfare Building on the first floor of the Unjeong Happiness Center. Detailed eligibility criteria and supply conditions can be found in the official announcements on the websites of Paju City Hall and Paju City Urban Corporation.
