U.S. President Donald Trump has once again released an artificial intelligence (AI) generated image featuring himself and Jesus, which is expected to spark further controversy. Previously, he posted an AI image that seemed to compare himself to Jesus, which ignited debate within U.S. political circles.
On April 15 (local time), President Trump posted an AI-generated image on his social networking service, Truth Social. The images include one of Jesus holding President Trump and another depicting President Trump walking on water dressed in attire similar to Jesus.
Sharing the images, President Trump asserted, "The radical left lunatics may not like this, but I think it's fine."
It is known that these images likening President Trump to Jesus are created by his fervent supporters. Some of these images are accompanied by captions such as, "Isn't it that God has played the Trump card?" and "I'm not a religious person, but as I see these devilish, child-sacrificing monsters being exposed, I believe God is intervening."
Previously, on April 13, President Trump triggered controversy by posting an image that 'deified' himself. The scene showed him, dressed like Jesus, placing his hand on a man's forehead as if performing a miracle. After criticism grew, the post was deleted within 12 hours.
President Trump explained, "It was meant to portray a doctor healing people, not Jesus," but the controversy did not subside.
Meanwhile, President Trump has recently been embroiled in conflict with the Pope. Previously, he criticized Pope Leo XIV, who condemned airstrikes on Iran, stating, "He is weak on crime and his foreign policy is terrible." In response, the Pope said, "The Trump Administration does not intimidate us, and we will continue to oppose war."
