The Gyeonggi-do Agricultural Research and Extension Services has developed a 'Home Growth Chamber (Plant Cultivation Device)' that allows succulents to be grown healthily indoors.
This newly developed cultivation device uses lighting that mixes red and white LEDs in a 3:2 ratio, which is optimal for succulent growth, to reduce excessive elongation and minimize changes in leaf color. Additionally, a ventilation fan has been installed inside to improve plant growth through internal air circulation.
The product is designed with a lightweight structure, making it easy to install at home. The timer function allows users to conveniently adjust the lighting duration and brightness.

The device is scheduled to be released to the public at the 'Cactus and Succulent Exhibition' in the second half of this year, and the technology will be distributed to related companies.
Jung Yun-kyung, Director of the Cactus and Succulent Research Center at the Gyeonggi-do Agricultural Research and Extension Services, stated, "The core of this development is creating an environment where succulents can be easily managed indoors," adding, "Through technology transfer, we will make it available for both farmers and consumers."
