Russia Reveals Locations of Ukrainian Drone Production in Europe, Calls Them "Attack Targets"

On April 15 (local time), the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that various European countries are producing components for Ukraine's military drones and have increased production as the situation for the Ukrainian armed forces has deteriorated.

According to TASS News Agency and others, the Russian Ministry of Defense disclosed the names and addresses of Ukrainian companies within Europe that manufacture drones used in attacks targeting Russia, making these allegations public.

The Russian Ministry of Defense asserted that these Ukrainian drone manufacturing companies have branches in eight countries, including London in the United Kingdom, Munich in Germany, Prague in the Czech Republic, and Riga in Latvia. The ministry also revealed specific company names, factory addresses, and the types of products being produced.

The Russian Ministry of Defense stated, "On March 26, we obtained information that the leadership of several European countries decided to increase the production and supply of attack drones for Ukraine in response to the Ukrainian military's significant losses and worsening manpower shortages," adding, "Such decisions worsen the entire military and political situation on the European continent."

This announcement by the Russian Ministry of Defense appears to serve as a warning message to European countries supplying weapons to Ukraine.

Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council and a close aide to Russian President Vladimir Putin, shared the ministry's statement on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), warning, "European facilities manufacturing drones and other equipment will become potential targets for Russian military attacks."

Meanwhile, on this day, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Prime Minister Meloni stated, "Italy is highly interested in joint production in the drone sector, where Ukraine has emerged as a leading nation," and added, "We discussed how to further strengthen defense cooperation with Ukraine."
