Simultaneous Win of First and Second Prizes in Pension Lottery

After dreaming of meeting and exchanging greetings with President Lee Jae-myung and First Lady Kim Hye-kyung, a citizen purchased a lottery ticket and was lucky enough to win both the first and second prizes in the pension lottery.

According to Donghaeng Lottery on April 15, Mr. A, who bought a lottery ticket at a store in Nowon-gu, Seoul, won both 1 first prize and 4 second prizes in the 310th Pension Lottery 720+ draw.

Mr. A shared that the reason he bought the ticket was because he recently had a vivid dream about meeting and greeting President Lee and the First Lady. He said, "I didn't want to miss out on the good energy, so I decided not to tell anyone about my dream and just buy the ticket."

When Mr. A visited the lottery store, he selected the numbers himself at the recommendation of the shop owner. He explained, "I usually like the number '7', and with a desperate resolve to give it my all, I chose a number ending in '4'." It is reported that Mr. A regularly purchases Lotto, pension lottery, and instant lottery tickets.

After confirming his win, the first person Mr. A shared the news with was his daughter. He said, "My daughter said, 'Mom, I guess days like this really do happen,' and she was happy with me." He added, "I'm very happy and grateful that my earnest wishes led to such a good result."

Mr. A plans to use the prize money to pay off loans and as funds for purchasing a future home.

Meanwhile, the Pension Lottery 720+ requires matching both the serial group number and all six digits to win the first prize. A set consists of five tickets, sold as the same number in different groups. If a set wins, the purchaser can win 1 first prize ticket and 4 second prize tickets simultaneously. The first prize pays 7 million won per month for 20 years, and the second prize pays 1 million won per month for 10 years, with the total payout amounting to about 2.16 billion won. Winners have one year from the start of payment to claim their prize.
