According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration on the 15th, temperatures in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions will be higher than the seasonal average (lowest 5-10 degrees, highest 17-21 degrees) until the morning of the 16th. However, starting from the afternoon of the 17th, temperatures are forecasted to drop and become slightly lower than average.

On the 16th, the morning low is expected to be between 7 and 12 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high between 18 and 26 degrees Celsius. In particular, while midday temperatures in inland areas of Gwangju and Jeonnam will rise significantly, mornings and evenings will remain chilly, resulting in a large daily temperature range. Meteorological officials advise paying close attention to clothing and maintaining body temperature.

Caution is also needed regarding fog and wind. Until the morning of the same day, some areas across Gwangju and Jeonnam are expected to experience fog with visibility less than 1 km, and strong winds with instantaneous speeds of around 15 meters per second are forecasted, especially along the Jeonnam coast.

An official from the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration stated, "Extreme temperature fluctuations are expected, especially in inland areas, so vulnerable groups should take care of their health," and added, "Along coastal areas, please thoroughly inspect facilities to prepare for strong winds."
