Hana Securities has maintained its "Buy" investment rating and a target price of 28,000 won for ICTK Holdings.
On April 16, Kim Hong-sik, a researcher at Hana Securities, stated, "On March 30, the U.S. Department of Labor proposed an amendment to include alternative assets such as cryptocurrencies in retirement pension options. As a result, both cryptocurrencies and quantum cryptography are gaining attention in the United States." He further analyzed, "Ultimately, stablecoins will soon become mainstream assets in the U.S., and investors should pay attention to quantum cryptography-related stocks that can fundamentally block hacking."
He added, "In the early stages, various security solutions may emerge, but the government will require unified standards. Therefore, it is crucial to monitor quantum cryptography standards. In the U.S., BTQ Technologies’ QSSN platform, a preliminary standard for PQC transition, has been designated as the standard by the quantum standardization body QuINSA. In Korea, ICTK Holdings has been selected as a QSSN partner based on its QCIM quantum security chip."
He continued, "For stablecoin payments to be accepted externally, power consumption must be minimized. ICTK Holdings is the only global company to have developed a VIA-PUF chip, a passive component that requires no power. If stablecoins become widely adopted, I recommend paying close attention to ICTK Holdings."
