At a press conference held at the Fairmont Ambassador in Yeouido, Seoul on the same day, CEO Cho stated, "Successful AI transformation means expanding agents that can be used for business with minimal cost," and added, "It is also important to address how to reduce newly emerging risks."

He continued, "Without resolving data and security issues, it is impossible to actually adopt AI in business," noting, "Since this transition process is unfamiliar to everyone, we also plan to focus on the consulting sector."

He identified securing long-term return on investment (ROI) as the key to the AX business. CEO Cho explained, "Since the changes will not be completed within one to two years, the business cannot be sustained without ensuring long-term ROI," and further stated, "Investments must be made with a long-term perspective, and it is essential to generate profits over time."

The ultimate direction of AI transformation is agent-centric work processing. CEO Cho described, "The first stage is using AI as a work assistant tool; the second stage is creating automated agents to replace human work; the third stage is where agents handle most tasks," and explained, "Productivity does not increase at the assistant tool stage. Only when agents work and humans supervise will ROI improve."

Last month on the 30th, Fasoo changed its corporate name to 'Fasoo AI' at its regular general shareholders' meeting. The new name reflects Fasoo's vision to evolve from a company with a unique position in the global data security and management market into a partner supporting customers' AX journeys. Fasoo AI supports AI adoption through enterprise AI platforms and agentic AI, and is expanding its portfolio to include AI governance, as well as the management and protection of AI-ready data. The company also plans to expand its consulting business to play a solid role as a partner in realizing "safe AX."

Fasoo began expanding its AI business by launching a privacy protection solution utilizing generative AI in 2022, followed by the release of 'ELLM,' an enterprise (on-premise) LLM, and securing numerous customer references. Through the merger of its U.S. subsidiary, Fasoo launched 'Symbolic,' an enterprise AI solutions company. By merging Fasoo's U.S. subsidiary with Consilix, a local AI platform and consulting firm, the company aims to expand its global customer base by providing agentic AI applications and strategies that can be immediately applied to business. CEO Cho stated, "By the end of next year, our U.S. subsidiary will turn profitable."
