This appointment ceremony was conducted for the settlement inspection committee members who were selected during the 272nd extraordinary session.

The settlement inspection will take place over 20 days, from April 15 to May 4. The committee members plan to focus on assessing the appropriateness and efficiency of the 2025 fiscal year budget execution, as well as the progress of key projects.

Chair Hwang Jinseon stated, "The settlement inspection is a process to review the results of budget execution throughout the year and to identify areas that require improvement," adding, "We will carry out our responsibilities to ensure that the inspection results are faithfully reflected in Jinju City's future fiscal management."

An official from the council's secretariat commented, "This inspection serves as an important bridge between the ninth council and the incoming council," and emphasized, "We will actively support the process to ensure an objective and thorough review."

The final settlement will be confirmed after a review by the tenth Jinju City Council, which is scheduled to convene in July.
