"Tunnel of Time" is part of the "Gampo Region Premium Fishing Village Theme Village Creation Project" led by the Marine Affairs and Fisheries Division, with a total project cost of 792 million won invested into the content business.

This experiential space was created by combining the area's historical significance with tourism resources to mark the upcoming 100th anniversary of the opening of Gampo Port.

The facility is an immersive video hall featuring three large screens (totaling 16 meters in width) within a 30-meter-long area. It can accommodate more than 20 people at once and is equipped with a system that can be operated without dedicated staff.

Additionally, three pieces of high-resolution video content of 6K or higher have been produced to enhance a more three-dimensional immersive experience. Safety and operational efficiency have also been ensured through AI CCTV and an integrated control system.

The content was inspired by the local Gampo legend "Saryonggul," telling the story of four dragons guarding the east, west, south, and north. Through the passage of time connecting the past and present, the videos express Gampo’s identity and vision for the future.

Visitors can experience the 100-year history and changes of Gampo Port through productions that depict journeys both under the sea and in the sky.

After a trial run in April, the video hall is scheduled to officially open in May.

Choi Hyukjun, acting mayor of Gyeongju City, stated, "The Tunnel of Time is an experiential space that reinterprets the history and culture of Gampo Port through media technology," adding, "We expect it will offer new attractions and opportunities for visitors to Gampo Port."
