SNT Dynamics Obtains U.S. Department of Defense-Accredited Cybersecurity Certification

SNT Dynamics announced that it has become the first Korean defense company to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (War Department) authorized cybersecurity certification.

Jeong Kiyeol, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Head of the Technology Information Security Team at SNT Dynamics, has obtained the 'Lead CCA' (CMMC Certified Assessor) qualification, which is a core expert credential of the U.S. Department of Defense's official Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program.

SNT Dynamics explained that the Lead CCA is the highest-level expert qualification responsible for overseeing evaluation and certification for the CMMC, which serves as a key security standard in the U.S. defense market. The company added that, outside the United States, there are only two holders of this qualification in Korea (including Jeong), one in Canada, and one in Sweden.

A representative from SNT Dynamics said, "This is a symbolic example that demonstrates the company's expertise in cybersecurity," and added, "We will continue to strengthen our cybersecurity competitiveness as a defense company."
