The 2026 Prenatal Health Class operated by the Hongseong County Public Health Center in South Chungcheong Province is receiving an enthusiastic response.
The county is running the program so that expectant mothers can acquire knowledge required for each stage of pregnancy, communicate with others facing similar concerns, and gain psychological comfort.
An official from the county stated that this prenatal health class "was prepared to provide systematic information on pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare, as well as to support physical health management, prevent prenatal and postpartum depression, and promote emotional stability."
The health class conducted by the county consists of four programs: the Grooming Class, Yoga Class, Mind Class, and Breastfeeding Class.
Lee Yongsuk, Director of the Health Promotion Division, said, "We will continue to expand customized education that provides practical help to expectant mothers," adding, "We will do our best to support healthy childbirth and parenting, making Hongseong County a great place to have and raise children."
