Donghae City to Launch Renewed Donghae Pay App at End of April, Enhancing Convenience for Citizens

Donghae City in Gangwon Province announced on April 15 that it will renew the Donghae Pay app at the end of April to improve user convenience and strengthen accessibility for citizens, as Donghae Pay has been contributing to the virtuous cycle of the local economy.

This renewal will focus on user-centric service improvements, including: ▲ enhanced accessibility with simplified mode and large-text features ▲ upgraded functions such as improved merchant search ▲ a newly established bulletin board for policy support fund announcements ▲ and a lavender-colored design.

Donghae Pay is a leading local currency that promotes local consumption and supports small business owners. As of the end of last year, it recorded a high usage rate with 4,883 affiliated stores, 69,473 members, and a total issuance amount of KRW 81,180,000,000.

In addition, Donghae City is actively promoting various benefits to non-affiliated stores and non-users to boost Donghae Pay usage, and is continuously encouraging more merchants to join and more citizens to participate.

Donghae City plans to continue enhancing features and expanding services to further vitalize Donghae Pay and create a more convenient environment for citizens to use it.
