원본보기 아이콘First released in North America in 1990, the Explorer has led the large SUV market through its current sixth generation. In Korea, it debuted with the second-generation model in 1996 and has since established itself as an iconic model that ushered in the era of imported large SUVs. The Tremor trim, making its domestic debut, delivers advanced off-road capability based on the 3.0L EcoBoost V6 engine, expanding the boundaries of outdoor adventures. The lineup also includes the steady-selling ST-Line and the premium Platinum, both equipped with a 2.3L EcoBoost I-4 engine.
The Tremor combines ruggedness and sophistication. The front grille and wheels feature Tremor-exclusive Electric Spice color accents, emphasizing a unique and practical image. The ground clearance has been raised by approximately 1 inch, improving approach and departure angles, and the addition of underbody protection ensures stable driving and durability even on steep slopes or rough terrain with numerous obstacles. Equipped with 18-inch all-terrain tires, it provides excellent grip, and auxiliary grille lights at the front enhance forward visibility in dark environments.
The ST-Line highlights modernity with a glossy grille featuring a black mesh honeycomb structure, while 21-inch alloy wheels, performance brakes, and red brake calipers boost its dynamic appeal. The Platinum trim achieves a luxurious aesthetic with a grille featuring a silver bar at the top, 20-inch wheels, and distinctive exhaust design details.
Compared to the previous generation, the first-row space has been expanded, and the panoramic fixed glass roof adds a sense of openness. The model is also designed with foldable third-row seats, allowing for flexible adjustment of interior space as needed. The Tremor and ST-Line trims offer a 6-seat layout with independent captain seats in the second row for enhanced comfort and convenience during boarding and exiting, while the Platinum trim features a second-row bench seat accommodating up to seven passengers.
The premium B&O sound system delivers immersive and rich audio from any seat. Fourteen high-performance speakers are optimally positioned in the Tremor and Platinum trims, while the ST-Line features ten speakers, filling the cabin with dense and vibrant sound.
The Ford Digital Experience ensures a stable connectivity environment, offering a more convenient and immersive driving experience. The 12.3-inch LCD digital cluster intuitively displays driving information, and the 13.2-inch LCD touchscreen in the center console allows for easy control of the vehicle's driving environment.
All trims come standard with an all-wheel-drive system and a terrain management system that supports six driving modes. The system detects terrain changes and provides optimal driving solutions for any road condition. The advanced driver assistance system, Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist 2.0, includes Blind Spot Information System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning System, and Evasive Steering Assist. Prices are set at 88.5 million won for the Tremor, 77.5 million won for the ST-Line, and 84.5 million won for the Platinum (including VAT and individual consumption tax at 3.5%).
