This campaign was designed to help children who are relatively vulnerable in disaster situations to recognize daily risk factors and develop the ability to protect themselves in emergencies. KB Insurance operated a safety education program that combined both in-person and online formats, tailored to local children's welfare facilities and group homes, taking into account on-site conditions and the circumstances of beneficiaries.

The in-person program took place the previous day, with children from group homes visiting the Incheon National Safety Experience Center, where they participated in disaster safety experience education reflecting real-life situations such as everyday safety, fire safety, and natural disasters. Through various hands-on activities, the children learned correct response procedures in the event of a disaster and naturally internalized the importance of safety.

The online program targeted children's welfare facilities in the Incheon area and included watching disaster safety education videos and submitting feedback. Depending on each facility's needs, they could also select relevant safety support. As a result, practical safety education and support could be provided in a manner suited to the environment and situation of each site.

Kim Kyudong, Head of the ESG Win-Win Finance Unit at KB Insurance, said, "This disaster safety campaign is meaningful in that it allows children to directly experience dangerous situations and helps them protect themselves in their daily lives," adding, "We will continue to engage in social contribution activities that strengthen the safety capabilities of vulnerable groups."
