Samsung Electronics has ushered in the era of mainstream AI TVs by unveiling new television models equipped with advanced artificial intelligence features. On April 15, at Samsung Gangnam in Seocho-dong, Seoul, Samsung Electronics held its product launch event, "The First Look Seoul 2026," where it revealed its 2026 TV lineup and new speaker products.

Viewers can instantly search for content-related information using only voice commands while watching TV. To enable this, Samsung TV incorporates the industry's largest array of AI service platforms, including Bixby, Perplexity, and Microsoft Copilot.
The new models not only offer simple information searches but also significantly enhance features that maximize entertainment experiences, such as "AI Soccer Mode Pro" and "AI Sound Control Pro."
AI Soccer Mode Pro uses AI to analyze game scenes in real-time, precisely capturing even the slightest movement of the ball and providing vivid crowd sounds and commentary. AI Sound Control Pro analyzes dialogue, background music, and sound effects in real time, automatically optimizing sound and allowing users to selectively adjust or mute individual audio elements such as the commentator's voice or crowd noise. AI Upscaling Pro analyzes low-resolution video in real time and converts it to high-definition quality with enhanced detail and depth.
Yong Seokwoo, President and Head of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, declared at the event, "We are proclaiming this year as the beginning of the AI TV mainstream era and will lead the global market starting with Korea." He added, "To achieve this, 99% of Samsung TV models released in Korea this year will be equipped with AI capabilities." He emphasized, "With enhanced AI features, Samsung TV will become a companion that is always present in customers' daily lives."
To solidify its leadership in the premium TV market, Samsung Electronics has greatly expanded its "Micro RGB (Red·Green·Blue)" lineup. Micro RGB TVs use RGB light-emitting diodes (LEDs) smaller than 100 micrometers as the backlight, with each color independently and precisely controlled to deliver exceptional picture quality. These ultra-premium products saw the launch of a 115-inch model last August and a new 130-inch model earlier this year. The lineup now extends to 65, 75, 85, and 100-inch options. Notably, the top-tier "RH95" model features the "Micro RGB AI Engine Pro" processor, which analyzes each scene in real time and classifies color tones to deliver lifelike picture quality.
The newly added "Mini LED" TV lineup for this year uses ultra-precise quantum mini LED light sources, delivering outstanding brightness, accurate contrast ratios, and vivid colors. The "The Frame" art TV series now includes a 98-inch large-screen model, similar in size to real artworks, allowing users to enjoy art pieces at home.
In the audio lineup, the Wi-Fi speaker "Music Studio 7·5," designed in collaboration with renowned furniture designer Erwan Bouroullec, attracted attention. Its circular shape harmonizes with spaces and incorporates the "dot" design element of traditional speakers, maximizing its value as an interior piece. AI technology delivers deep bass and balanced stereo sound, while Dolby Atmos technology creates an immersive listening experience.
The "HW-QS90H" all-in-one soundbar model in the 2026 Q Series analyzes the size of the room and listening environment to produce optimal sound. It is equipped with four built-in woofers, enabling deep bass without the need for a separate subwoofer.
The flagship "HW-Q990H" soundbar features "Sound Elevation" technology, which relocates the audio output so that dialogue appears to come from the center of the TV rather than the lower soundbar, and "Auto Volume," which automatically reduces volume differences between content for consistent sound levels.
The free content service "Samsung TV Plus" has also been enhanced. Every month, it will provide new concert content from SM artists and deliver overwhelming sound immersion with "Eclipsa Audio," the next-generation 3D audio technology.
To celebrate the product launch, Samsung Electronics is running a wide range of promotions through April 30. Customers who purchase a 115-inch Micro RGB or 85-inch Neo Quantum Dot Light-Emitting Diode (Neo QLED) 8K TV will receive a complimentary Q Series Soundbar (990H). In addition, a discounted "No-Drill Installation Service" will be available for customers unable to mount their TV on the wall. Members who subscribe to TVs through the "AI Subscription Club" will receive up to six years of free repair service, and customers who prepay for a subscription to an extra-large TV will be eligible for additional discounts.
