Visits to Gyeongnam Region Companies Over Two Days, April 13-14

Taeyoung Kang, President of NH Nonghyup Bank, announced on April 15 that he conducted on-site management over two days, April 13 and 14, by inspecting strategic industry sites in the Gyeongnam region.

NH Nonghyup Bank explained that this on-site management initiative was designed to strengthen financial support for the core industries of the Gyeongnam area-marine, aerospace, and defense-and to further enhance customer-centric services through communication with field employees.

On the first day of his visit, April 13, President Kang attended the opening ceremony of the "Southeast Region NH Nonghyup Financial Marine, Aerospace, and Defense Comprehensive Support Center" held at the NH Nonghyup Bank Gyeongnam Headquarters, where he emphasized the importance of productive finance.

This comprehensive support center will serve as an outpost, providing tailored financial consulting and specialized products to companies in the Gyeongnam region’s strategic sectors, including marine shipbuilding, aerospace, and the defense industry.

On April 14, President Kang visited major industrial sites in Gyeongnam, including Samsung Heavy Industries Geoje Shipyard and Hanwha Aerospace’s Changwon plant. During these visits, he exchanged views with company officials on business operations and discussed practical financial support and win-win cooperation measures aimed at expanding shipbuilding and defense exports and transitioning to high value-added industries.

President Kang stated, "The Gyeongnam region is a key hub for manufacturing in Korea, and the continued growth of the marine, aerospace, and defense industries will strengthen national economic competitiveness. Going forward, we will continue to actively respond to the financial needs of companies through field-oriented financial support, and further expand NH Nonghyup Bank’s unique productive finance that grows together with the local community."
