LS Electric Wins Three Awards at Germany’s iF Design Award

LS Electric has been honored with awards in a total of three categories at Germany’s 'iF Design Award 2026,' one of the world’s top three design competitions.

On April 15, LS Electric announced that its smart circuit breaker ‘Compact ACB’ (Product Design category), next-generation automation solution ‘XGT Integrated Safety PLC’ (Product Design category), and energy consulting platform ‘Beyond X - Enable’ (Service Design category) each won the main prize at the 2026 iF Design Award.

Launched in 1953, the iF Design Award evaluates entries across various fields-including product and service design-based on innovation, usability, aesthetics, and impact. Alongside Germany’s 'Red Dot Design Award' and the United States’ 'IDEA,' it is recognized as one of the three major design awards worldwide.

This year, around 10,000 entries from 68 countries fiercely competed for the honor. LS Electric was selected as a winner for its excellence in design quality and distinctiveness, overcoming the intense competition.

Through these achievements, LS Electric’s capabilities have been recognized not only in industrial equipment design but also in digital platform design on a global stage.

The Compact ACB is a smart circuit breaker that maximizes spatial efficiency and incorporates digital features. It enhances operational convenience by enabling settings and monitoring through NFC and Bluetooth, and is designed so that the functions of each control element are intuitively distinguished.

The XGT Integrated Safety PLC is a programmable logic controller used to control various devices in industrial sites, integrating high-speed and high-precision control with safety features into a single central processing unit (CPU). Its OLED display, front-facing ports, and modular structure significantly improve efficiency in installation, wiring, and maintenance.

Beyond X - Enable is an AI and cloud-based platform that provides energy consulting services related to carbon neutrality. It is designed to rapidly connect decision-making and execution in industrial sites through dashboards and monthly reports.
