On April 14 (local time), all three major U.S. stock indices closed higher on expectations that a second ceasefire meeting between the United States and Iran would take place within two days.
On the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) that day, the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed up 0.6% compared to the previous trading day. The S&P 500, which focuses on large-cap stocks, rose by 1.18%, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq increased by 1.96% to close the session.
