NIPA Supports Entry of 10 Leading Korean ICT Companies into Singapore

The Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) announced on April 14 that they supported the participation of ten leading Korean ICT companies in the 'ZAITEX Asia' exhibition, which was held in Singapore for two days starting April 9.

ZAITEX Asia is the Asian sister event of the world-renowned exhibition 'ZAITEX Global' held in Dubai, and has been organized annually in Singapore since last year.

This year's event brought together 550 teams from 110 countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, India, and Russia, and attracted 250 investors.

NIPA supported the exhibition and competition participation of ten companies, including artificial intelligence companies (Codepresso, Bering Lab, Korea Deep Learning, Lattitu), fintech companies (Crosshub, Universe AI), and cybersecurity companies (Giwon Tech, F1 Security, Plainbit, PNP Secure).

As a result, Korean companies held more than 200 export and investment consultations with local partners, amounting to a total of 14 million dollars, and companies such as Giwon Tech and Crosshub signed three memorandums of understanding with local clients.

At the 'Supernova Competition', a side event, Codepresso and Universe AI advanced to the semifinals, and Codepresso won third place, receiving a prize of 10,000 Singapore dollars (equivalent to 12 million won).

Kim Deukjoong, Deputy President of NIPA, said, "We are delighted that a Korean company won an award at the highly competitive 'Supernova Asia Competition', where world-class companies compete. We will continue our efforts to help promising startups gain recognition and make an impact at international events."
