After the signing ceremony, the participants moved to the KRIBB school for a laboratory tour of the Overseas Bio-Resource Research Center.
President Kang stated, “We hope to attract outstanding local Vietnamese students to national research institute schools and nurture them into global talent, and that after graduation, they will form an alumni network to help advance research and development cooperation between the two countries.”
Meanwhile, USTH is a national university in Vietnam established in 2009 through an agreement between the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training and the French Ministry of Higher Education. In 2026, it ranked sixth in the Vietnamese university rankings.
UST plans to expand talent recruitment through further agreements, building networks with leading universities in Vietnam and other promising countries to allow outstanding students from each country to participate in national research institute schools.
