During her stay, Moore delivered lectures to medical professionals, hospital officials, and students. On April 8, she gave a talk at the Seoul Robot Artificial Intelligence Science Museum on the topic of “The Future of Healthcare Shaped by AI and Robotics,” where she explained how artificial intelligence and data technology are influencing surgical decision-making and the advancement of surgical skills.

On April 9, she participated in the Korea Healthcare Congress 2026, where she introduced directions for innovation in AI-based surgery to hospital management. The event highlighted the need for changes in capacity assessment and educational systems based on medical professionals’ surgical skill data.

Moore also took part in Intuitive Surgical Korea’s employee social contribution activities. Since last year, Intuitive Surgical Korea has operated a donation program involving employee participation. This year, the company is producing upcycled keyrings to support children from vulnerable groups through the ChildFund Korea, while also running a wellness-linked program that connects employees’ physical activities to charitable contributions.

“Korea is making a tangible contribution to global surgical technology based on its solid clinical foundation and active research in robot-assisted surgery,” Moore stated. “The Intuitive Foundation will continue to expand support so that more patients, in Korea and around the world, can benefit from medical innovation.”

Yongbeom Choi, CEO of Intuitive Surgical Korea, commented, “The visit of the foundation’s CEO was a symbolic opportunity that highlights Korea’s global standing in the field of AI and robotic medicine. The ultimate goal of technological innovation is better patient care, and Intuitive is committed to building an environment where more patients can receive improved treatment through ongoing education and support.”
