According to JTBC’s “Incident Commander” on April 13, a resident of Jeju, referred to as Mr. A, discovered that an unfamiliar car had entered and exited the parking lot of his home on April 10.
Closed-circuit television (CCTV) installed at Mr. A’s house captured footage around noon on that day showing a rental car with a man and woman entering the parking lot.
After parking, the pair moved to the back seat. About 20 minutes later, the man got out of the car first and returned to the driver’s seat. The woman then adjusted her skirt, looked around, got back into the front passenger seat, and they left the scene.
Mr. A suspects that the couple engaged in romantic acts inside the vehicle. It was reported that they even left behind trash that was deemed inappropriate to be shown on broadcast at the scene where the couple had been.

According to current law, unauthorized entry of a vehicle onto private property can be punished under the Minor Offenses Act, with a fine of up to 100,000 won, detention, or a minor penalty. Acts that are obscene or cause discomfort in public places are also punishable. Even if such acts occur inside a vehicle, if they are visible from outside, penalties can be applied. Offenders may face a fine of up to 100,000 won, detention, or other penalties.
