Now in its fourth year since its inaugural event in 2023, this year's expo has significantly scaled up its operations. The Ministry of Science and ICT has joined as a new sponsor, and global big tech companies, including CES participating firms, Google, and Tesla, will showcase their latest technologies. Seven venues-including Yangcheon Park, the district office, the sports center, and the future education center-will be integrated into a single education campus, hosting approximately 150 programs across six sections.

By section, the 'Future Education Expo (AI CREATIVE LAB)' will feature generative AI, physical AI, and coding experience zones, while the 'Career Exploration Expo (AI CAREER HUB)' will offer one-on-one customized career consulting based on big data.

The 'National Youth Competition (AI CHALLENGE)' will include a mathematics structure contest, an AI English speech contest, and a drone soccer tournament. There will also be the 'Education Forum and Lectures (AI INSIGHT)' featuring participation from global scholars. Additionally, the 'Lifelong Learning Festival (AI LIFE & LEARNING)' will present an AI-integrated street exhibition, and the 'Kids Play Zone (AI KIDSPLAY)' will provide experiences such as LEGO coding and robotics for children.

The Y Education Expo, the first education-centered hands-on expo organized by a local government in Korea, has established itself as a national-scale educational festival, recording a cumulative total of approximately 150,000 visitors over the past three years.

Lee Gijae, Mayor of Yangcheon District, stated, "Under the vision of borderless education and limitless learning, I hope that this future-oriented educational platform, which welcomes everyone from young children to seniors, will set a new standard for the future of education in Korea, starting here in Yangcheon."
