SparkLabs, an accelerator, announced on April 14 that it has invested in Avolabz, which operates the AI-powered English education solution "Avolingo."

Avolabz, founded by Turkish-American entrepreneur Deniz Albayrak, aims to reduce teachers’ workloads and improve class operation efficiency through AI technology. Leveraging proprietary algorithms and automation capabilities, the company provides comprehensive support for digital class management.

The flagship solution, "Avolingo," not only generates assignments tailored to each student’s learning level and goals based on materials or curricula uploaded by teachers, but also automates grading and feedback.

Avolingo has demonstrated its global scalability by supplying solutions to educational institutions in countries such as Korea, Turkey, Germany, and Malaysia. Last year, it was also selected as the top startup in the "K-Startup Grand Challenge (KSGC) 2025" program hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.

With this investment, Avolabz plans to accelerate the supply of its solutions, particularly in the Asian market, where demand for English education is high, and to further refine its offerings to support the learning of various languages.

Deniz Albayrak, CEO of Avolabz, said, "With SparkLabs’ investment, we will strengthen our business foundation in the Korean market and accelerate our global expansion. We hope that by introducing Avolingo, classrooms centered on textbooks can be transformed into 'living English learning' environments where teachers and students build knowledge together."

Kim Yujin, CEO of SparkLabs, stated, "Avolabz is a team with the competitiveness to enhance learning operation methods through AI while maintaining existing systems. We expect them to set a new standard in the education sector, backed by their proven scalability in the global market."
