On April 13, Jaseng Medical Foundation announced that it held the "2026 Veterans Content Contest" award ceremony at the Jaseng MediBio Center in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province.

This contest, themed "K-Heroes Beyond Borders," focused on expressing stories of individuals who dedicated themselves to the nation-such as through the independence movement, the Korean War (6·25), and overseas aid-in the form of artistic works.

Approximately 150 entries were submitted between November last year and January this year, and 19 pieces were selected as winners. The judging process was conducted in three rounds, evaluating each entry based on relevance to the theme and creativity, among other criteria.

The grand prize went to Lee Yoojin's "Dawn." The work was recognized for weaving together the stories of historical figures such as An Jung-geun, Yu Gwan-sun, and Kim Gu, as well as participants in wars, into a single narrative.

The gold prize was awarded to Kim Miyeong, while the silver prizes went to Jeong Yeongmok, Gong Yeongseok, and Lee Jihoon. In addition, recipients of the bronze and encouragement awards were also selected. The total prize money amounted to 30 million won, with the grand prize winner receiving 10 million won.

The foundation continues to provide medical and livelihood support programs for national heroes and their families, and is actively engaged in ongoing veterans-related social contribution activities.
