Machinarocks Signs MOU with LIG D&A for ‘Defense AI Cooperation’

Machinarocks announced on April 14, 2026, that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with LIG Defense & Aerospace (LIG D&A) for mutual cooperation in the field of defense artificial intelligence (AI).

This agreement was established to promote joint advancement in the field of defense AI based on mutual trust. The main areas of cooperation include participation in defense AI projects, planning and proposing key defense technology initiatives, hosting joint research and academic conferences, and exchanging personnel and knowledge in areas of mutual interest. Both companies plan to share the necessary experience and information for these projects and build a close collaborative system.

Machinarocks is the only company among the Defense Acquisition Program Administration’s “100 Defense Innovation Companies” to possess its own AI platform, leading the way in defense-specialized AI technology. Machinarocks’ flagship product, “Runway,” reliably supports the entire process from AI model development to deployment and operation, even in closed networks with disconnected connectivity and the highest level of security required in defense environments. Based on this technological prowess, Machinarocks has been expanding practical applications of AI specialized for defense settings in collaboration with the Agency for Defense Development, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Defense Technology Promotion Research Institute, and the First Fleet Command of the Navy.
