Trump: "Iranian Fast Attack Craft Will Be Eliminated Immediately If They Approach Blockade Zone"

As the U.S. military initiated a counter-blockade of Iranian waters, U.S. President Donald Trump threatened on the 13th (local time) to immediately sink any Iranian vessels that approach the blockade zone.

On the same day, President Trump stated on the social networking service Truth Social, "A total of 158 Iranian Navy vessels have been completely destroyed and now lie at the bottom of the sea," adding, "The only ones we have not struck are the so-called 'fast attack craft.'"

Emphasizing this as a 'warning,' President Trump declared, "If any of these vessels approach the vicinity of the blockade zone, they will be eliminated instantly using the same lethal systems we employ against drug traffickers."

Previously, the U.S. Central Command began measures to blockade all vessels entering or leaving Iranian ports in the Strait of Hormuz starting from 10 a.m. Eastern Time (11 p.m. KST on the 13th).
