At the time, the police had been dispatched in response to a report of an assault case involving Mr. A's acquaintances. After handling the situation, they noticed Mr. A's actions and proceeded to check him.

The police informed Mr. A that he had violated the Misdemeanor Punishment Act (for littering) and requested that he present identification. Mr. A claimed he had left his ID behind and provided a resident registration number.

Noticing Mr. A's suspicious behavior, the police conducted an on-site fingerprint verification. During this process, it was discovered that Mr. A had used someone else’s resident registration number. He then ran away for several dozen meters and resisted by punching at the pursuing officer.

The officer fired a taser at Mr. A, but missed the first time, and then fired again, successfully subduing him. Mr. A was immediately arrested at the scene on charges of violating the Resident Registration Act.

Upon investigation, it was found that Mr. A was wanted for failing to pay fines related to four different cases, including assault, forgery of private documents, and violation of the Special Act on Insurance Fraud Prevention. The police are currently investigating the specific circumstances surrounding these incidents.
