Morpheus Studio, which operates the AI video production platform Aikron, has established partnerships with Japanese VFX companies as it seeks to expand overseas.

From April 9 for two days in Tokyo, CEO Lee Sooyoung held an Aikron workshop for local VFX companies including The Seven, Megalis VFX, SPADE&Co, and Kassen. A representative from Morpheus Studio stated, "This visit was made at the invitation of Japanese VFX companies, and both sides have pledged ongoing collaboration."

The Seven is a content production company under TBS Holdings and was responsible for VFX in the Netflix series "Alice in Borderland" and "Yu Yu Hakusho." Megalis VFX, founded by former ILM experts, participated in the production of the Annie Award-winning "ONI: Thunder God's Tales."

SPADE&Co. is known for the "Kingdom" series, which set the record for the highest opening among Japanese live-action films, while Kassen is a studio that has worked on director Hideaki Anno's "Shin Kamen Rider" and music videos for Kenshi Yonezu, among others.

Launched in February 2026, Aikron offers a workflow specialized for professional video production, including timeline editing features.
