On the 13th, the chapter visited candidate Kim San's election office to express their support, lending momentum to the campaign ahead of the main primary scheduled for April 14-15. Over 100 members participated in the declaration of support, including chairman Hong Baekyong.

The chapter explained its support by stating, "Candidate Kim has dedicated himself to the advancement of agriculture in Muan and to promoting the interests of onion farmers." Chairman Hong emphasized, "In this era of climate crisis, agriculture is a matter of survival," adding, "Kim San is the right person to truly understand the hardships of farmers and to propose practical solutions."

He further noted, "This year, due to increased onion production, accumulated inventories, and the influx of imported onions, prices have dropped by more than 30% compared to last year, causing significant difficulties for farmers," and stressed, "There is an urgent need for realistic policy responses."

In response, candidate Kim San's camp stated, "We will spare no effort in providing policy support to ensure the stability of agriculture, which is the backbone industry of Muan, and to enhance the competitiveness of the onion industry."

Local political circles have interpreted this declaration as "a symbolic moment demonstrating the direction of agricultural sentiment, as it represents the public support of a key regional agricultural organization," and suggested, "It could influence both the results of the main primary and the future course of the election."
