According to the Office of the Prime Minister, Prime Minister Kim expressed his respect for the dedication and sacrifice of the fallen firefighters and offered his condolences to the bereaved families, stating, "We will ensure that there is no negligence in the honors and funeral support provided." He also requested the relevant local agencies to support the families of the deceased and emphasized the government's commitment to preventing such tragic sacrifices from recurring.


The funeral ceremony for the fallen firefighters will be solemnly held at 9 a.m. on April 14 at the Wando Agricultural and Fisheries Culture and Sports Center.
