A Comprehensive Guidebook to Yeosu's Leisure Resources at a Glance

Yeosu City in South Jeolla Province is publishing the 'Yeosu City Leisure Life Comprehensive Guidebook' to help residents easily and conveniently enjoy a variety of leisure resources in the local area.

This guidebook, under the theme 'Wise Leisure Life, Yeosu 360º,' systematically organizes leisure information by region. It is thoughtfully structured into six categories: tourism, events and festivals, culture and arts, leisure and hobbies, nature and healing, and others (kids and seniors, nighttime).

The tourism section expands options for readers by including not only the city's well-known food destinations but also recommended travel spots such as island tours and beaches. The culture and arts section features schedules of major performances and exhibitions, introduces cultural center programs, and provides information on historical sites related to national defense, adding educational value.

In particular, the leisure and hobbies section contains information on sports facilities aimed at promoting public health, as well as details on various activities such as golf, water leisure, and cycling. It also offers a detailed guide to the distinctive services and programs operated by each library.

The nature and healing section introduces park facilities that serve as urban oases and lists scenic trekking courses, suggesting ways for people to relax and recharge in their daily lives.

A city official stated, "We created this guidebook so that citizens can fully enjoy Yeosu’s abundant leisure resources, even in their busy daily routines," adding, "We hope this guidebook will serve as a valuable resource to enrich life in Yeosu."

Meanwhile, Yeosu City will make the 'Yeosu City Leisure Life Comprehensive Guidebook' available at the City Hall civil service office, township and neighborhood community centers, and major tourist information centers. It will also be offered as an e-book on the city’s official website for easy access by anyone.
