Shinil Electronics announced on April 13 that, in collaboration with AI software company Saeumsoft, it has unveiled hardware technology for the 'AI Human Interactive Kiosk' optimized for bus stop environments.

Shinil participated in the hardware design and production of this kiosk as part of the AI kiosk demonstration project being promoted by Anyang City. This project was selected through the '2025 AI Challenge Program' organized by Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Business & Science Accelerator.

The kiosk enables users to access transportation information through real-time voice conversations with an AI digital human, without the need for any manual input. Based on transportation data collected in real time, it offers a variety of functions, including: providing directions to destinations, analyzing and guiding public transportation transfer routes, comparing estimated travel times by mode of transportation, offering real-time traffic information, and sharing information on local amenities.

Ergonomic design for user convenience has also been incorporated. The screen angle has been optimized for visual perception, allowing users to view the display more comfortably. In addition, the kiosk is equipped with a handle structure so that elderly or mobility-impaired users can use it safely. The display is designed for high visibility, even in strong sunlight, ensuring the screen remains clear in outdoor environments for extended periods.

Acoustic engineering tailored for a voice interface environment has also been applied. Since bus stops are typically noisy due to vehicles and surrounding activity, a high-performance directional microphone has been installed to accurately recognize users' voices.

To prevent the kiosk's audio output from unnecessarily spreading to surrounding citizens, a narrow-directional speaker system has been adopted. This ensures that sound is delivered clearly to the kiosk user while minimizing noise impact on the surrounding area.

The AI Human Interactive Kiosk is being piloted at bus stops near Anyang Station, Anyang Central Market, Dongan District Office, and Indeogwon Station. Based on the results of actual operation, Shinil Electronics plans to gradually expand the installation scope in the future.
