This hotline initiative is based on Korea-Vietnam private medical cooperation and aims to improve emergency medical access for Koreans residing in Hanoi. Full-scale operations will begin on April 15, 2026. The program is especially significant in that it links GC Group’s global healthcare capabilities with local medical institutions, centering on the GC&Phennica Healthcare Center, which was established last year.

The hotline will utilize the KakaoTalk channel and messenger-based consultation system operated by the GC&Phennica Healthcare Center to provide 24-hour emergency patient registration and ambulance coordination. If an emergency patient is transported to Phenikaa University Hospital, Korean interpreters from the GC&Phennica Healthcare Center will assist with the treatment process on site.

A GC official stated, “The establishment of this hotline is intended to ensure that local Koreans can receive prompt emergency medical services without language barriers,” adding, “As a global healthcare company, we will continue to strengthen our competitiveness in overseas medical services.”

Meanwhile, the GC&Phennica Healthcare Center operates a KakaoTalk channel (GC Green Cross&Phenikaa) to provide medical consultations and guidance for Koreans, offering detailed related information.
