Idus Launches 80 Types of "Carnation Desserts" for Family Month

Idus announced on April 13 that it is holding a special event called "Idus' Unique Gifts" in May to celebrate Family Month, offering 80 types of handmade food items with a carnation theme.

This event was planned based on the fact that seven out of the top ten best-selling products during last year's Family Month season were food items. Idus held a "mini-collaboration" project contest centered on carnations and supported artists with one-on-one consultations from food product merchandisers (MDs) to help them plan and promote their products.

Idus conducted a comprehensive evaluation of artistic value and marketability, ultimately selecting 56 finalists. Among them, the top artists featured a variety of desserts such as carnation-shaped balloon flower jelly, candied walnuts, and bean paste cookies. The list includes Dessert Minute, Mabelle Cookies, SomSomDang, Swedish Bakery, YehwaDang, Jeongdam Dessert, JeonginDang, and Hwachasoga.

Idus also plans to expand its product lineup next month by sequentially releasing over 5,000 non-food items, including floral wreaths and letter envelopes.

Discount and rewards events have also been prepared. During the event period, customers can receive up to 85% off, enjoy daily surprise reward credits, and receive additional random coupons every Friday. Starting from Parents’ Day, a 20% discount coupon will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis to customers using the gifting service.
