This project briefing, to be held at the Spaceshare Seoul Station Center in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, has been organized to comprehensively share the direction and procedures of the project, including organizational culture diagnosis for each institution, the development of customized improvement tasks, step-by-step implementation systems, and the roles of institutional representatives.

The Gender-Equal Organizational Culture Development Project is being promoted to enhance gender equality awareness among public sector members and to incorporate a gender-equal perspective throughout policies and systems within organizations.

This year, the project will provide step-by-step customized support for a total of 152 organizations, including 58 institutions newly participating in organizational diagnosis, as well as through improvement support and implementation assistance.

During the project briefing, the Korea Post Financial Development Institute, which was recognized as an excellent participating organization last year, will introduce its strategies for discovering female talent and expanding them into managerial positions, while the Seongbuk-gu Urban Management Corporation will explain the process by which it improved its organizational culture.

To encourage active participation and ongoing improvement efforts by institutional representatives, a best practices booklet featuring case studies of participating organizations from last year will be distributed.

Since its pilot launch in 2020, the Gender-Equal Organizational Culture Development Project has provided step-by-step support to a total of 724 organizations, including organizational diagnosis (351 organizations), improvement support (218 organizations), and implementation assistance (155 organizations).

In particular, the proportion of institutions that established their own improvement plans based on diagnosis results increased from 60% in 2022 to 88.7% in 2025, indicating that commitment and participation in organizational culture improvement are continuously expanding among institutions.

Furthermore, administrative statistics analysis has confirmed both the policy effects and field acceptance, such as the expansion of female managers and the activation of work-life balance systems.

Cho Minkyoung, Director of Gender Equality Policy at the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, stated, "We will actively support the spread of a practical culture of gender equality throughout the public sector through customized support for each institution."
