At approximately 5:24 p.m. on April 11, 2026, a passenger car traveling on a road in Dongcheon-dong, Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province, crashed into a guardrail and then fell about 5 meters onto a bicycle path next to a stream.

All four passengers in the vehicle were found in cardiac arrest and were urgently transported to a nearby hospital.
