[Notice] Seeking Growth Engines for 'K-Enterprises' in the Space Era... '2026 Asia Future Business Forum'

The Asia Business Daily will host the "2026 Asia Future Enterprise Forum" under the theme "Space-nomics: Korea’s Growth Engine Sought in Space" on May 13, 2026, at Lotte Hotel in Sogong-dong, Seoul.

With the successful completion and safe return of Artemis II, which wrote a new chapter in human space exploration by conducting a crewed lunar mission for the first time in half a century, humanity has officially entered the space age. Notably, Korea's "K-RadCube" satellite, developed with domestic technology, participated in this mission, demonstrating the nation’s technological capabilities on the global stage. The Asia Business Daily aims to provide a forum to examine how the space era will transform Korean industries and to explore corporate strategies for responding to these changes.

The government is accelerating its efforts to become a leading space power, targeting the launch of an unmanned lunar lander by 2032 and the private sector-led development of a lunar lander by 2030. This forum will bring together global space centers and companies from Korea and abroad to share strategies for the space business, discuss the latest technological developments, and offer perspectives on the current state of space exploration.

The keynote speech will be delivered by Salem Al Marri, Director General of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) in the United Arab Emirates, which became the world's fifth nation to send a probe into Mars orbit in 2022. He will share the achievements and vision of UAE’s space development. This will be followed by an address from Tae seog Oh, Administrator of the Korea Aerospace Administration (KASA), who will outline the blueprint for Korea's space industry.

In addition, Jinwoo Han, Executive Director at Semiconductor R&D Center, Samsung Electronics, and Minsu Yoo, Executive Vice President at SK hynix, will provide in-depth insights into the current state and future prospects of space semiconductor technology development.

In the industry and investment session, Donghwan Choi, Head of Winning R&D at LG Sciencepark, Jungyeon Kim, Partner at PwC Consulting, and Hoon Jeong, Research Analyst at Eugene Investment & Securities, will analyze business models and investment trends in the space industry. A subsequent panel discussion will feature representatives from the Institute for National Security Strategy (INSS) and leading domestic space startups, who will discuss on-site challenges and policy support measures.

This forum will offer a meaningful opportunity for business and policy to come together on the new stage of space to envision Korea’s future growth engines.
