It serves as the starting point for establishing a region-based elementary care joint response system (governance).
During the workshop, the provincial office explored practical operational measures, such as building regional cooperation systems through the Elementary Care and Education Council and identifying locally-driven support tasks.
The workshop consisted of a special lecture on the direction of elementary care policy through collaboration with local governments, a sharing of best practices from Siheung and Namyangju, and roundtable discussions between education offices and local governments to identify regional cooperation tasks.
Chami Soon, Director of the Regional Education Bureau at the provincial office, stated, "The growth and care of children is not solely the responsibility of schools, but a communal task for the entire local community," adding, "We will build a comprehensive care system that closely connects the office of education with local governments."
