The pledge fulfillment rate of Baek Sung-hyun, Mayor of Nonsan City, Chungcheongnam-do, was found to be 84.4%. This figure is 14% higher than the national average of 70.4%.

Nonsan City announced on the 10th that it received the highest grade in the '2026 National City, County, and District Mayor Pledge Fulfillment and Information Disclosure' evaluation, which was organized by the Korea Manifesto Implementation Headquarters.

According to the city, the major achievements of the 8th popularly elected administration include: ▲ Job creation through attracting high-quality companies ▲ Expansion of the rural development fund ▲ Establishment of a public postpartum care center ▲ Creation of an artificial intelligence children's imagination playground, among others.

A city official stated, "Receiving the highest grade for three consecutive years is the result of implementing pledges with a focus on execution rather than as mere promises," adding, "We also plan to release the status of pledge implementation and related data going forward."
