On this day, the KOSPI opened at 5,876.12, up 98.11 points (1.70%) from the previous trading day, while the KOSDAQ started at 1,089.14, up 13.14 points (1.22%). The won/dollar exchange rate began the session at 1,475.1 won, down 7.4 won.
