On April 10, CJ Olive Young announced that it will introduce its own point system, "Olive Point (OLIVE POINT)," for members of its Olive Young membership program, "Olive Members," starting next month.
"Olive Point" is a membership-based point system that can be used like cash when making payments at Olive Young's online mall and offline stores. The system is designed so that members can earn points by participating in promotions and services offered both online and offline. Members of Olive Young, known as "Olive Members," will now receive Olive Points in addition to the existing CJ ONE points. Various events where Olive Points can be earned will be revealed sequentially throughout May.
Olive Young has continued to enhance the benefits for "Olive Members" as a token of appreciation for its loyal customers. The company is evolving beyond simply offering discounts such as coupons by membership tier and is moving toward providing experiential content and unique brand experiences exclusive to Olive Young.
Experiential benefits are also being expanded, especially for higher-tier members such as Gold and Black Olive. Every month, Olive Young runs the "Olive Class," a series of interactive lectures in collaboration with beauty and wellness brands. Recently, the company has offered cooking classes in partnership with Hyundai Card Cooking Library and both online and offline lectures through a collaboration with the talent-sharing platform Taling, thereby supporting personalized beauty and wellness experiences.
An Olive Young representative stated, "We will continue to strengthen online and offline benefits centered on 'Olive Members' so that customers who love Olive Young can further expand their beauty and wellness experiences."
Meanwhile, Olive Members are categorized into five tiers based on their cumulative purchases online and offline over the previous six months: Gold (over 1 million won), Black (700,000 won to less than 1 million won), Green (400,000 won to less than 700,000 won), Pink (100,000 won to less than 400,000 won), and Baby (less than 100,000 won).
